This piece was made as a plasticized taxidermy specimen of an organism that evolved on Saturn's moon Titan. The organism entitle "Species 37" uses the innate acetylene found on Titan's surface as its bodily fuel and heats up the frozen H20 found on the surface in solid form in order to propel its body upward and throughout the atmosphere in search of its food sources. It was on display in the McClung Museum of Natural History at the University of Tennessee on February 10, 2015.
