I collaborated with a local footwear designer to rapidly design and launch a personal portfolio that captured both their creative work and unique personality. The project spanned from initial wireframes to full web development, incorporating custom web-based animations to create an engaging and professional experience. The portfolio proved highly effective—within weeks of its launch, the designer secured multiple interviews with major footwear companies and received a job offer.

I restructured the designer’s outdated sitemap—removing irrelevant projects and content—and developed a new, streamlined version that aligned with the portfolio’s updated goals. This refined sitemap focused only on relevant work and supporting pages, providing a clear blueprint for wireframing and ensuring smooth navigation and logical flow throughout the user experience.
I integrated accessibility standards such as alt text, ARIA labels, WCAG colors, and keyboard navigation support. This work ensured the site was inclusive and usable by a wider range of visitors, reflecting thoughtful design principles.
I designed and developed the site to be fully responsive, adapting seamlessly to desktops, tablets, and mobile devices. This ensured a consistent and enjoyable viewing experience for all users, regardless of screen size or platform.
I designed and developed bespoke animations and micro-interactions to bring the brand’s personality to life through Webflow interactions, custom JavaScript, and Rive App. These subtle yet dynamic touches improved user engagement and created a memorable browsing experience.
This project was both fast-paced and rewarding, pushing me to overcome challenges like working within a shortened timeline, navigating Webflow’s limitations, and ensuring the portfolio struck the right balance between creative expression and professional polish. I achieved the core goals of delivering an engaging, recruiter-focused site that was responsive, accessible, and visually aligned with the designer’s personality—ultimately leading to interviews and a successful job offer within weeks of launch. Looking back, one area I would improve with more time is, on the depth of the individual project pages. While they currently function as effective visual galleries, I would rebuild them to better integrate with the site’s design system and create a richer, more immersive storytelling experience.
